4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 20/20
Pours amber-orange with a thick white head. Aroma is a mingling of citrusy hops and bergamot. Taste is Earl Grey upfront with hoppy citrus following. Some pleasant lingering bitterness and bergamot. Body is on the lighter side with a decent amount of carbonation. You have to like Earl Grey to get into this beer but if you do, the combination with citrusy hops works very well. I love Earl Grey and I love this beer.

On tap at BeerDeLuxe. Great, extreme beer. Aromas of coriander, caramel, grass. Taste is sweet and bitter, with long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
some amazing beers tonight. this had two predominant flavours - black tea and apricots. thankfully the tea took the back seat to provide a base to the citrus and other malty goodness. utterly fantastic.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2013 Golden-light orange body. Moderate sized white head. Distinctively brewed with earl grey tea. The bergamot orange is unmistakable and is accented by a perfume-like floral profile and some grapefruit. Flavor is similar, soft and pleasant. Medium to light bodied, appropriate carbonation, lightly bitter finish. A great change of pace and well done offering.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
From a 330ml bottle on 10/10/2012.Pours a slightly cloudy golden orange with a big fluffy white head. The aroma is dominated by strong Earl Grey tea with a light fruity background. In the mouth, there is both sweet and tart citrus fruit, a hint of grapefruit, and heaps more Bergamot orange/Earl Grey tea flavour. The bitterness is medium to high, and sticks around well after it goes down the hatch. This is an extremely unusual, impressive and delightful brew.

300 ml bottle. Aroma is pretty amazing, lemon fudge, Turkish delight, rose, citrus marmalade with a sweet creamy butter finish. What the heck! Who would have thought? Taste is like rosehip, then black tea, finishes with malty sweetness and slight bitter aftertaste. Citrus flavours floating in there. Pretty unusual.

I’m smiling because you actually never know what it is you’re getting until you get it. I don’t get why it’s an IPA though, there is some more research that I need to make before making bold claims like that, but I guess it has to sit somewhere on the scale of things.
This is a bit of good for what ails me and I enjoyed it a lot. And will again.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber, with a moderate off-white head, which lasts fairly well and leaves decent lacing. Strong tea and bergamot are the dominant aromas, with some fresh floral and grapefruit hops notes in the mix as well. Grapefruit hops up front lead smoothly into a strong bergamot flavour, with plenty of orange notes. There is strong Earl Grey flavour in the finish, along with floral and citrus hops, which blend nicely with the bergamot. The bergamot flavour of the Earl Grey tea creates a very pleasant blend with the citrus hops used to create an original and very enjoyable beer.

From the bottle. Strong flavour of the tea - think herbal, bergamot. Balanced with definate bitterness and a background of malt. It did explode from the bottle, so seemed to have too much softish carbonation. I was expecting this to be a bit "novelty" but I found it extremely drinkable. Interesting but not too extreme to enjoy. Really liked it.
