Deep brown pour with tan head that lasts forever. Piney, floral and citrus hop aroma with roast and touches if chocolate. Flavor is pretty similar with more roast and a bitter finish. Loaded with carbonation and a medium body. Petty tasty.

Really nice yeasty, liquorice, sourish and malty aroma. Nice black colour and carb. Off white head. Sourish, wooden flavours at start, then roasted malts and vanilla kicks in after that. At the end grassy and haylike hops kick in. A tiny bit watery... Really nice! Hoppy, sour and malty aftertaste. Yeah!

33cl bottle. Jet black pour with a bit of beige head that gives way to a sticky lacing. Smells of roasted malts, caramel and cherries. More sweet that I expected, with notes of artificial flavouring, vanilla and dark cherries. Watery.

(Yeastie Boys Pot Kettle Black) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 6% Dark brown colour on the body, almsot two full fingers of thick, beige head on top. Good retention. On the aroma skunky hops, light citrus, faint chocolate. Taste of old grass, stale hops, light liquorice, citrusy finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Okay porter, easy to drink.

33cl Bottle at DeRat. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of liquorice, coffee, light smoke, fruity. Flavour is medium sweet, roasted malts, dark fruits, hint of leather, hoppy bitter finish. Medium bodied at best. Nice.

Bottle from the Blue Moon, Cambridge. Very dark brown with a hint of light coming through. Cappuccino, hot fudge, caramel and a suggestion of smoke. Sweet at first with a tantalisingly dry finish. Beef gravy, espresso and liquorice in the bitter aftertaste. Intense and unbelievably well done.

From bottle. Poured with big long lasting head; tastes of hops up front then a nice porter roastiness. A very interesting and drinkable beer. Maybe just a shade too roasty

Bottle at home. Very dark brown, brown creamy head with nice stability. Hoppy and roasted malty nose and taste, some blackcurrant/berry fruitiness, earthy, bitter finish. As it warms, it gets more rounded, some vanilla, bitterness in the finish diminishes, mouthfeel gets even more soft. Silky mouthfeel, light-medium body, low-medium carbonation.

Nose is cocoa, flavor is chocolate, mild coffee, truffle, toast. Medium sweet, medium to heavy roasty bitter. Finish is medium lasting roasty medium bittersweet. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Tasty dessert beer, great one.

Bottle, brewed @ Brewdog. Almost black. Roast and bacon in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty flavor with licorice. Fruit sweeties. Medium to full bodied. Quite pleasant.

Bottled at cafe De Rat. Opaque black appearance, small head. Complex nose, roasted malts, licorice, vanilla, lactic acid. Sweet roasted malty flavor, lactic acid more pronounced, licorice and vanilla, bittersweet in finish. Velvety mouthfeel. Fantastic brew, I liked it so much i had a few in a row.
