A juxtaposition of styles: fresh and hoppy, yet dark and rich. Mindbendingly delicious. NZ & rest of the world brewed at Invercargill Brewery. UK & Europe brewed at Brewdog, Aberdeenshire.

Deep brown pour with tan head that lasts forever. Piney, floral and citrus hop aroma with roast and touches if chocolate. Flavor is pretty similar with more roast and a bitter finish. Loaded with carbonation and a medium body. Petty tasty.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Dark brown beer, off white foam. Quite a nice hoppy dark beer, some roasty malt and a herbal hop finish.

Good plummy aroma,, with a liquorice hint. Quite metallic taste, like a good stout. Low carbonation .

Pours dark brown/black with a thin brown head. Smells of lightly roasted malts, chocolate, earthy. Tastes of dried fruit, mild roasted malt flavours. Not to sweet. nicely balanced between sweet and dry. It’s a decent enough beer, but not something I would personally strive to try again.

Mooie zwarte kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt fruitig hop orange. Smaakt bitter, citrus drop. Bitter.

Bottle. Like the name. Earthy smell. It's an inoffensive porter, with some body and a very long, very dry finish. Ok, but not special. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 33cl. Black with. Beown head. Nice aroma of hops in together with some hints of liquorice and subtle malt. Lot of taste, considering that it only is a 6% alc/vol. beer. Hints of coffee, toffee followed by a subtle bitter finish. Good beer.

Bottle into a pint glass. Pours black with a minimal tan head. Nose is caramel and hops. Taste follows. Starts with toasty malt, finishes with some nice hop bitterness. Not bad, but not exceptional.

33 cl bottle. BBE 28.01.2017.
Pours dark brown color with a deep red tint and a large off-white head. Dry dark chocolate on the nose, very hoppy, some faint coffee notes, roasted malts and very subtle vanilla. Flavor is a bit of a letdown, watery malty body with some chocolaty tones, mild bitterness, some hops and again some vanilla on the short finish. Soft carbonation, dry palate with a short aftertaste. Very nice aroma but too weak a body and the flavors are a bit muted. Somewhat disappointing.
