Draft at the nook. Pours slightly cloudy pineapple juice color. A bit of orange peel on the nose which becomes more pronounced on the tongue. Finishes very dry so you know thereís some hops. Pretty good example of the style.

Sample at local tasting. Bright yellow and slightly hazy. Nose is slightly yeasty with faint spiciness. Taste is a bit sharp with a bready acidic flavor. Not as smooth as I would like.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: AUG 28, 2011 Draft from a growler from Highland Package. Pours a hazy yellow with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is lots of lemon, some coriander and ginger. Flavor is lemon, coriander, ginger, plus some more of the typical Belgian flavors of banana, clove, and bubblegum (my wife said, "Smells like Trident bubble gum!"). Light, refreshing palate. Nicely done wit.
Just had it again on draft at Slice in Lakeview. Seemed a lot thinner and washed out with all the above flavor/aroma elements muted. Seems to point to some consistency issues.

Draft @ the Nook. A hazy yellow in the glass with a white head that settled to a ring. Banana aroma. The flavor found wheat, banana, citrus and yeast. Light to medium body, yeast and citrus aftertaste. Nice local witbier!
