An average citrus IPA. The head is so huge you can’t even pour a glass (from bomber). Light citrus aroma. medium body. Sweet lime lemon grapefruit flavor with rind flavor pretty balanced. Not bad. Need more aroma and better appearance.

Bottle. Yellow/gold-tinged amber, hazy and almost opaque. Firm head. Gives of a scent of spring lime blossoms. Drinks with an assertive citric sting, finishing with a slippery, orange-acidity. (#5073, 6/24/2013)

Bottle @ home. Pours nearly clear copper with a large, foamy off-white head, long retention with great lacing. Aroma is fresh orange, light pine/resin, tangerine, and grassy hops with pear and apricot fruity esters and a biscuit malt background. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, with fruity esters cutting through the hops somewhat; dry malt stays behind providing a nice base. Finish is dry. Medium to medium-full body, moderate carbonation with a hop-induced bite.

Pours a murky orange with a huge off white head. Aroma has excessively tangy fruit notes...almost like candied citrus rind...some citrus bitterness. Flavor has earthy bitterness and some underlying stonefruits...muddled. mouthfeel is medium and very lively with a muddled fruity/earthy/medicinal dry finish.

Bottle courtesy brentfeesh. Apricot, grapefruit, and piney hops, and light caramel malt aroma. Cap came off with an almost explosive pht/whoosh, but didn’t gush. This was weird. Once I poured, then the bottle started to gush, and carbonation in the glass was so vigorous that the head started to grow, and grow and grow. I went to the sink and wiped off the head, but again it grew, and grew.. another trip to the sink. It was pretty ridiculous, and finally had to scoop some of the head out of the glass so I could finally get around to drinking it. Anyway the beer was a hazy honey gold with vigorous carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass. Sweet caramel malt, tropical fruit and spicy (almost peppery) piney hops flavor. Medium body and ridiculously active carbonation. For all the trouble, I sure was glad that it tasted and smelled good, and it did provide a little entertainment on a slow Saturday afternoon.
