COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Golden and clear, this take on the Belgian staple holds a complex floral aroma. Made with pilsner malt and using Belgian yeast, the brew is inspired by Trappist brewing tradition, offering a honeyed sweetness on the tongue, yet a satisfyingly dry finish. Pairs well with both complex and traditional cuisine. We freed the hops on this beer; be mindful, as it can be deceptively strong.

Draft at the Huntsville Brewery. Pours almost clear gold with a fizzy white head. Tastes creamy, nutty, like light raisin, citrus. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like herbs, sweet lemon, doughy malt, light raisin.

On tap. Served a clear copper color with a decent head and some lacing. Aroma of dark fruit, caramel bit of hops and malt in the background with a hint of spice. Taste of dark fruit sweetness, some malt, honey with touch of spice. Mild bitterness and a dry finish. Moderate body, smooth with a nice easy feel. the 9% ABV is well hidden. Nice beer for the style

This has the promise of being amazing... but it is not. Very nice delicate sweetness which is clouded by a hop confusion. It is not a bad brew, but I won’t purchase again. Head retains a bit. Flavors of orange, honey, and flowers... then the end is bitter clouds.

Bottle from Liquor Express. Pours golden with a half inch of white foam leaves some lacing. A slight fruitiniess on the nose. Fairly dry on the tongue and the alcohol is fairly prominent. A bit hop forward on the tongue. Solid but not my favorite or preferred interpretation on the style.

Draft @ the Nook. A dark pale in the glass with a frothy off-white head that left some lasting. Spice aroma with a backing of floral and yeast. The flavor had dark fruit and spice with a hint of a citrus hop background. Light to medium body, short spiced aftertaste.

It was aight - on tap, Nook in Huntsville. Medium head . Citrus overtones with moderate sweetness. Hazy and medium yellow with a medium body (not too thick). Had a very malty aroma. I liked it but it had a certain medicinal quality that bothered me somewhat.

On tap at the Nook. Pours a hazy orange with an ample head. The aroma is oranges, lemons, wheat and spices. The flavor is very sweet and tart. The palate is medium and astringent with a slight bitter finish. Overall, a good beer, much lighter and more citrusy than most tripels; more of a witbier.
