On draft at MKT Beer in Edmonton, AB. Not a very good beer. Not much aroma, very light and pale looking. Clean lager which helps the enjoyable factor of it. But nothing much but a flat beer with a familiar lager taste.

500ml bottle pours a light amber golden color with a finger of white head that leaves a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is light cereal grains with some progressive hop bitterness. This is truly a premium lager and the typical macros don’t stand a chance against this brew.

2011-01-29 - shared by jerc & mabel with me and blankboy. 500ml bottle. Pours like bum urine - bright and concentrated "I’ve been boozing too long yellow" with a white fizzy head. Smells like a macro beer with weeds, corn, paper and icing sugar dumped in it. Tastes blech - same - need I say more? Ugly and harsh and avoid unless you need the tick.

I poured this from a 500 ml bottle, it pours a light amber color with a thick cap of white head. On the nose I get some light malt and light grains notes. It has an overall watery feel but still a decent amber, I pick up some hints of carmel and toasted malt notes. It finishes with a lingering spicy bite and hints of metallic. This was the first thing I have tried from these guys, I can say not a huge fan of amber but this was actually one of the better ones I have had.

Bottle purchased from Lo-Cost Liquor in Edmonton, AB on 07/23/2011. Colour: Extremely clear copper with minimal head. Nose: Fresh baked wheat rolls, uncooked french fries, a touch of gas...not sure what kind. Very starchy nose. Taste: Medium sweet, light bitter, light sour. Very unique. Corn. The sweetness is there but is somewhat soft and not biting - so doesn’t become overly annoying. Some fresh cream. The finish has mild nut and continues with the sweetness. A valid if not green effort here and good things could come from this place.

Bottle. Amber with light head. Nice lager. Toasty malt with a gentle sweetness and light finishing bitterness.

Bottle [500ml] shared with HogTownHarry, jerc & mabel -- c/o j&m. Pours a clear pale gold with a large frothy off-white head. Not crazy about the aroma, it’s vegetal along with pale malt, grain and straw. Watery flavour of pale malt and grain. Light to average bodied. Just O.K. at best.

500ml Bottle. Pours a light amber with a thin pearl head. Aroma of malt. Taste: corn, with a bit of malt, some caramel, toffee notes. Finishes with a grass like note, a tad sweet. Very ’standard’ - needs something. For this style probably some more hops, at least enough to give it a crisp finish.

[3580-20110129] 500mL bottle. Light grassy straw plastic aroma. Clear, orange yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Grainy plastic yeast flavour. Light-medium body. Really not pleasant, not enjoyable. (3/3/2/2/7-) 1.7

2011-01-29. Crisp dark yellow body with a small frothy white head. 3+ Lightly funky, pale malt aroma. Flavour is similar, grainy pale malt, bit odd actually. Average palate. Okay, perhaps a bit better when fresher? Bottle from Vertical Bacon Bits
