Bottle courtesy of kyzr. Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Smells fruity with a wheat backbone. Tastes tarte and of berries with a nice jam like finish.

Thick gold pour with small white head. Sweet flower smell. Flavor is tart and sour with generic berry flavor with some wheat. Its hard, but you can finally filter out and get a little huckleberry towards the end.

When I smelled this beer I thought it was going to be very sweet. After the first sip I was shocked by how tart it was. I actually made a face. Got better as I drank it and by the end was very happy with it. Very unique and good beer

[Bottle, thanks Skyview] Pours slightly cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very sweet with what I am told is huckleberry. Pretty good. Taste is also huckleberry with a grain taste also present towards the end that really detracts from it. Somewhat thin. Unique berry to use in the beer, but not a very good fruit beer overall.

Honey coloration, fruity, sweet and fruity, leaves a good after taste. I liked this one a lot

Thanks to skyview for sharing. Pale pink/yellow body. Nice fruit nose on this one. Grainy fruit body with decent berry flavor, which Skyview assures me is dead on for Huckleberry. It’s nice and definitely different.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: NOV 16, 2007 Re-rate - (11/16/07) picked up a single 12-oz bottle from the brewery in Billings, Montana. Pours a semi-clear golden blond brew with a creamy white head that dissolves slowly to a film top and white ring. Some spotty lacing but quite thick in the glass. Aroma of light white bread with a soothing huckleberry scent. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated, with a mild tart huckleberry, wheat and a touch flowery hops. Finish is smooth, light with a distinct huckleberry aftertaste. I have had several huckleberry fruit beers in Montana over the past year. This is one of the best huckleberry flavored beverages.
First rating (10/14/07)- infected bottle.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance: Pours a pale golden body with a small, fizzy-looking white head.
Smell: Boom. There you go. Huckleberries.
Taste: This beer offers enough of the fruity, juicy huckleberry quality we all seek without getting excessive about it. Beyond that, there’s just a soft hint of wheat and lemon. Finishes crisp and tart.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Finally, a beer that allows me to get my huckleberry "fix".

Pours a slightly hazy golden with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet, fruity berries and some mild pale malt. Starts with a mild sugary sweetness turning into a fruity tartness toward a thinner, sweet-tart finish. Fairly interesting, balanced, and drinkable.
