COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Huckleberry Wheat is bear food in a bottle! Most other fruit beers have such a tart snap that you can't taste the beer. The Huckle-Weizen is BEER with just enough huckleberry to make you yearn for the wilderness!

Draft at brewpub. Poured a hazy golden yellow color with a large white fizzy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium sweet berrry and earthy hop aroma. Medium body with sticky texture and lively carbonation. Moderate sweet berry flavor with a smooth moderate sweet finish of moderate duration. Interesting sweet session beer.

Bottle poured a hazy pink tinted gold with a small diminishing off white head. Aromas of bread, wheat and berries. Palate was light bodied and slightly tart. Flavors of tart berries, wheat and bread with a crisp tart finish. A very refreshing summer beer!

12oz bottle. Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a smaller sized head. Aromas of floral, I’m assuming huckleberries as it was berries but have never smelled a huckleberry before, and wheat. Tastes of tart berries (again I assume huckleberies), wheat, and lightly bready. This one grew on me as I drank the bottle.

Pours a slightly hazy golden with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet, fruity berries and some mild pale malt. Starts with a mild sugary sweetness turning into a fruity tartness toward a thinner, sweet-tart finish. Fairly interesting, balanced, and drinkable.

12oz bottle pours with a deep gold body that has a slight haze and supports a thin light tan head. The aroma offers up fruity tartness, table sugar and some berry to cranberry like fruitiness. The taste starts tart and fruity with an edge of mild yeasty tartness. To midway it gets soft and sugary and a bit aspartame like too. It ends with a decent berry fruitiness.

Bottle. Cloudy straw yellow, lively white head. sweaty wheat aroma with sourish undertones, tart wheat flavour with unsweetened berry fruit and a sour-tart finish, very dry; an outstanding fruit beer that captures a profile the straddles a traditional Belgian wit (not American) and a sour ale. Unexpectedly nice!

Bottle courtesy of kyzr. Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Smells fruity with a wheat backbone. Tastes tarte and of berries with a nice jam like finish.

Bottle: Dirty straw or a dull golden, fairly hazy, moderate to large white head, foamy, fairly decent lacing.   Fairly crisp huckleberry nose.   Whoa... this one is rather tart and dry, with only minor huckleberry sweetness.   Actually, its kinda of nice for a change.   Fairly dry, a bit airy, and acidic from start to finish.   Slight pepper, wheat, and cereal at the end.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Different.   Thanks Tom for the bottle!

Head is initially small, white, frothy, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light amber, dense tiny particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), with notes of lemon, raspberry, and strawberry. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Cloying syrupy sweetness hurts this one. But then again, the aroma isn't much either.
