It poured out a nice cloudy golden color but had very little head. The flavor got worse and worse with each drink. Strawberry and citrus taste with mild carbonation. Tasted like a flat strawberry soda. wierd aftertaste.

Hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of huckleberries, malt and grain. Taste is sour and tart with huckleberry – a bit puckering. Could use some sweet malt to help balance it out. Somewhat astringent and not very good.

Bottle. Interesting. Wheat and fruit on the nose. Quite sour on the palate. Is this a fruit or a sour? I’m not sure what to think of this. Decent, but odd.

Bottle. The pour left a fairly thin head, leaving a pinkish-amber appearance in the glass. Carbonation seemed about right for a Hefeweizen. The berry flavor is highly aggressive, and leaves a sour-bitter aftertaste. It sits well, and once you get used to the sour-sweet note, it is drinkable. Not a fan of the finish: it was quite long and bitter.
I love a good Hefeweizen: this is not recommended for true Weizen drinkers: taste resembles a wine cooler more than a Hefeweizen. If they were to market this as a wine cooler or something other than a quasi-Weizen, I’d be happier with it.

Bottle. This beer smells of berries and wine. Its aroma is like that of a bad scented candle. It is very cloudy in appearance, with a blood orange color and small amount of head. The flavor is sour and pungent, more reminiscent of a wine cooler than a standard beer. The body is surprisingly full, and it is pleasantly crisp going down the throat. This brew seems to be reasonably well made, but it is not suited to my tastes. The flavor is a bit of a shock at first, but I did get used to it eventually.
