UPDATED: SEP 2, 2014 Dry hops and malt on the nose, then a big malty Ovaltiney palate with peaches and black treacle on the tongue, dry bitter overtones, then dried fruit and bitter in the aftertaste. Re-rate, this time I’m also getting a notable and pleasing floral, almost peach blossom, aroma. Excellent!

Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival, day 2, on 1 May 2009. Another decent copper coloured bitter from Yeovil. Good balance of earthy malt and hoppy bitterness. Not a huge amount to be said but a pleasant drinker sure enough.
