3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
At FWIBF, Nice golden pour with a white head. I had never had this brewery’s beer before the festival and I definitely want more. All were enjoyable. This was a nice and spicy hopped IPA and damn good.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours hazy yellow with two fingers head. Smell is bland, faint citrus. Taste is chalky, a light grapefruit, really sweet, malty, a bit bitter on the finish. Pretty bland.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Frankly, I picked this up mainly because of the weird-ass can. Look at it. LOOK AT IT! But it turned out to be a fairly competent IPA. Smells biscuity and hoppy, tasted biscuity and hoppy. I get note of resin and grass, as well.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Big offwhite head. Clear deep golden body. Deep tropical fruit and citrus aroma with oily grassy notes. Dry-sweet tropical fruit and resin taste with citrus notes. Fullish body. Mild, slightly hot mouthfeel. Very clean flavour. Dryish dusty tropical fruit aftertaste with resiny grassy spicy notes. Spicy bitter flavour lingers. Very nice. Bold, yet highly drinkable. (0.35l can from Naito-san.)

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very good yellowish head over coppery-golden beer. Lightly spicy hops and other grains aroma. Bitterish, but also a strange, flour-like flavour and sesame seed - the last probably the "other grain" aroma from the nsoe. Real bitter is suddenly there in the finish, with more complexity, only to stop abruptly. Dry, well-carbonated, medium bodied. Interesting beer, seems one moment underhopped, only to return with a vengeance.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From the can. Pours hazy, Dank hop aroma, sharp pine/citrus hops on the palate backed up by some malty sweetness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from World Beers. Hazy gold pour with a lot of sediment at the finish. Short white head with decent retention and leaving moderate lace. Nose is balanced: citrus and malty light fruits – very pleasant. Medium-heavy body and moderate carbonation. Oranges, apricots, tea, biscuit and pine. It has characteristics of some of my favorite IPAs, but in small amounts. Finish is quite bitter, which may be a function of age or distance or storage conditions. Surprisingly good and well-balanced. If I could get this at a decent price it would be in regular rotation.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can shared at Slutfest 3, Richmond, VA, 4/21/12. Pours a clear amber color with lots of particulates. Aroma of nutty, toasted malts and citrus hops. The taste is citrus hops and pale caramel malts. Medium bodied.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled at Slutfest 3. Can pours clear golden with LOTS of suspended particulate. Surprisingly still has a fair amount of hops on it. Lightly buttery on the nose, but the flavor is spicy hops with a little pine and resinous. Not too bad at all. And the can is pretty sweet, but way overpriced.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is a bit subdued, hoppy sweet biscuit aroma coming from a coppery amber pour and thin white head. Initial flavour is that biscuity sweetness with a hint of stonefruit and a bitterness that is there but not too overbearing. Considering the 7% abv it is not acrid like a lot of IPA/DIPA’s
