3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 12, 2013 Pours bright gold with little head. Aroma is slightly funky malt and floral. Taste is a touch of candy/caramel leading into long hoppy resinousness... I like this beer and think it should rate higher. A great example of classic IPA.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Copper ale, clear as crystal, with no head to brag about. No cloudiness of a good IPA. Not only it looks like a bitter, but it smells like a bitter. It would be sickening sweet if it was not for a resinous touch to that nose. The flavour is more hoppy, with citrus a a touch of grapes, and there is a certain revelation of more of a floral hoppiness, still quite bitter in the end, which pretty much saves it from damnation.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear amber with some orange highlights and a small white head. The nose is subdued, but pine and some floral notes come through. The taste features a good dose of hoppy bitterness, but that washes away to reveal flavours of apple, lemon and bready malt on the back palate. I’m not sure I’d really describe this as an IPA, but it’s pretty tasty nonetheless.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
The nose is stale with some vegetal hop, a strong, off-putting maltiness. Slick, medium bitterness. Vaguely unpleasant. Not really a fan, could be a very old can.

12oz can at Kushi DC. Pours a clear, honey gold with some thin, white head. Nose is floral, sweet, honey, light citrus, yuzu. Flavor is the same, sweet, honey, lychee fruit, orange zest, honey, flower pollen. Nice enough, but a bit too much sweetness.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Can from Smith Street Cellars. Nice balance. Aromas of caramel, citrus, nuts, hints of grass. Taste is sweet and bitter, with long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can@Home. Malty, bitter and rather typical IPA. Except for the bitterness there’s not much of a hoppy character. Overall a nice beer though.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Quite a decent IPA, aroma is a bit soft, pours a attractive orange with a rather quickly vanishing head. Sweetish body, with plenty of citrus hoppy notes to keep you busy. Tends to prove that good beer can go into cans. Noice

Decent IPA. Hop balance is nice. Nothing special I would swing import price for though...again. $5 GA.
