330ml can. Vibrant bright orange colour with a bit of haziness. Deep dirty white head. Loads of citrus hop aromas that are very nice, as is the flavour and the long lasting hop aftertaste. A great Japanese beer.

350mL can. Blue w/ white smiley. Heavenly aroma of hops. Pale orange pour; tall foam, off-white color. Smells of caramel and biscuit malts, hop florals, a touch of citrus hops. Flavor of crisp malts; grassy herbal hops. Perfect balance. Sweet malt has a taste of honey. Hops have a creeper of bitterness, sharp citrus rind. Bitterness is like no other. Lingers like an American IPA should (except this one is Japanese). Very under-rated. Again, perfect balance for style. Equal in quality to Tokyo Black.

Can from Smith Street Cellars. Nice balance. Aromas of caramel, citrus, nuts, hints of grass. Taste is sweet and bitter, with long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

Can from secretsint, thanks!! Aroma is big floral, fruity and piney hops, some caramel malt in the back. Nice. Flavour is quite dry, medium bitter, very hoppy, fruits, pine and light floral. Very nice! Go Japan!

There is a refreshing citrus-based fruity taste to this ipa. The hoppy aftertaste is strong, resulting in an almost bitter/sour flavour that lingers on the tongue. I really like this ale, but my choices are limited due to living in a small town in Japan.

330mL can. Pours cloudy copper with an amazing tropical fruit aroma, mango specifically. Lots of tropical fruits in the flavour also with a nice mild bitterness. Very nice beer.

On tap at Tokyo Real Ale fest, from an oak cask. Havent tried the can yet but Im told this was better. Almost no head, light amber body. Very hoppy flowers and pine on the nose, sweet malts. Nice. Taste was hoppy pine and forest greens, sweet malts and earth notes, bitter finish. Very soft palate, a bit oily. Very nice.

Thanks to jdubFL for this treat. The can pours deep gold with copper hues and white head. The aroma is sweet with malts, sweet rose pedals and berry like fruitiness followed by faint roasted maltiness. The taste is spicy hops with mild flavor hops in the background as well as echoes of pine hops and citrus. There’s a thin strata of malty to faintly roasty malts deep in the background.
