I’m sorry!

12 ounce can purchased at Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa. The aroma has some roasted notes with a little rubbery character and some anise, too. Light pool toys. Somewhat transparent dark mahogany body with a smallish light tan head that is quickly dissipating. Starts with a bit of a sweet chalky cocoa like flavor. The middle has some slippery, sweet buttery diacetyl. Lowly carbonated. A bit of anise flavor is in the finish. Sweet, undercarbonated, diacetyl-ridden beer.

350 ml can from De Bierkoning ( alittle past bbe date) - present from Aaltje, thanks a lot! I guess it’s because I brought Yo-Ho to their attention :-). Black color. Beige head which quickly disappears. Aroma’s: sweet drop/licorice, roasted malts, light red fruit. Retronasal it’s very much drop, a little salty even, aniseed, bay leaves/laurel. Flavor is moderate sweet, roasted or even smoked, light salty. Medium bodied.Medium bodied. Finishes with more drop/licorice, roasted, moderate bitter. Very strange, but definitely interesting.

On bottle from Drankencentrale du Hipduvel, Gent. Black color, some foam. Medium/ high aroma intensity; malt, dried fruits, some licorice and roasted aromas. Medium body & complexity. On the sweet side, some bitterness - but doesn't take it away from the sweet side. Enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

At a tasting, many thanks, small bubbly beige head, very deep intense brown color with reddish hues, aroma of cherry liquor filled chocolate, dirt, manure shrubs and a hint of soy, flavor of bittersweet chocolate, hay and shrubs with a hint of soy, chocolate cake sweetness, mellow charred wood bitterness. Very good and really enjoyable.

Can sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks David Cohen. Black with a tan head. Smells a little like scotch, also floral and phenolic. Deep roasty and mildly bitter taste, as well as cocoa. Full body, no carbonation, long, bitter finish of soy and chocolate.

350ml can. Darkest brown colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Chocolately, dark malty aroma, hints of roast, milk chocolate, mocha coffee. Taste is chocolately dark malty, slightly sweet milk chocolate and dry dark chocolate notes, some roast, hints of grassy hop, minimally metallic overtones. Harmonious malt mixture, relatively light, quite nice.
