COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tokyo Black is the second brand at YoHo. A robust porter, well balanced between the malt and the hops. The complex chocolate and roast flavours of dark specialty malts are combined with a floral and slightly spiciness from Perle hops.

Pours black with tall tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, light coffee, basement, smoke, german sausage. Taste is sweet chocolate at first followed by smoked german sausage in the finish. Body is light and smooth, soft carbonation.

Bottle from SB. Pours one finger of head. Nose: roasted bread. Taste is watery and clear. A bit too nice for my taste.

Flaska från @thaalcoholic. Svart med ljusbrunt skum. Doften går åt det brända hållet. Smaken går åt samma håll. Lite för klen.

A deep dark porter with a thick frothy brown head. In aroma, nice smooth bitter chocolate with good coffee notes, light fruity esters, light milk chocolate, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with light coffee, milk chocolate, caramel, grassy hops, nice. Can from Seoul.

Can @ home. Pours reddish dark brown with a beige creamy head that quite quickly disipates. Milk chocolate, red fruits, coffee & coffee beans, vanilla and some alcohol in the aroma. Hints of wood, red apples, grass & magnesium. Rather dry taste with a medium bodied, lightly tart and almost sandy texture. Lightly roasted and fruity taste. Dry grassy, ashy and somewhat metallic aftertaste with a bit too low bitterness.

På burk från systemet. Doft av karamell, frukt och kaffe. Svart färg. Smakar rostat kaffe, vanilj med en besk mjuk efetrsmak.

33 cl bottle. Pours solid black with medium, creamy head. Peaty smoke, tar and iron/steel in aroma and flavor. Perfectly balanced with a full bodied palate without oiliness. A beer for (black) metal heads!

Canned from Systembolaget. Opaque black beer with a rich lasting brownish head. Roasted coffee and chocolate aroma, licorice, vanilla, caramel notes, cocoa powder, some tar. Roasted chocolate flavor, licorice, cocoa, coffee notes, caramel and vanilla. Full boded and tasty porter.

Medium head. Never would have guessed it was a porter if I had been blindfolded. Light and citrusy, thin malt, no burned sugar, no smoke, no caramel. A lot of bubbles though. A strange excuse for alcohol.
