Tokyo Black is the second brand at YoHo. A robust porter, well balanced between the malt and the hops. The complex chocolate and roast flavours of dark specialty malts are combined with a floral and slightly spiciness from Perle hops.

Had this from a can on a couple of occasions as well as on cask at Craft Beer Works Kamikaze in Osaka.
Pitch black pour. Nutty roast coffee aroma. Taste is nutty, a bit salty and with plenty of coffee. Very smooth and quite good overall.

This baby here has an aroma of pretty light roasted malts, gentle hops and a hint of something I can’t put my finger on. The taste is more complex than you might think, at first it feels a bit thin and ordinary, but slowly it develops into a soft, sweet malty experience that transforms once more into a fruity and semi-dry finish. There is liquorice in here as well as some very light salty ingredient in there. I´m impressed.

Burk från SB. Kolsvart, lågt snabbt försvinnande beige skum. En välgjord relativt klassisk porter, medelstor sötma, kaffe, choklad, mörkbröd, enbärsmust, svartvinbärssaft, lätt efterbesk med lite kärvt kaffe och lite torrare avslutning. Trevlig
