Tokyo Black is the second brand at YoHo. A robust porter, well balanced between the malt and the hops. The complex chocolate and roast flavours of dark specialty malts are combined with a floral and slightly spiciness from Perle hops.

Mmm, det här var kanske inte så dumt, smaken var fin med rostade toner. Kroppen var helt okej och balansen satt på sin plats, slutsats; trevlig öl!

Can @ "Lorry Restaurant",Oslo. October 15, 2014. Beer enjoyed from a tulip glass. Black in color with a creamy beige head and regular carbonation. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee and some smoke. Tastes rosted malt and coffee and has a dry bitter finish. A bit to weak and thin for being a favorite beer.

350ml can @ Cardinal. Pitch black body with a big beige head. Very nice aroma of mild roasted malt and expresso coffee. Flavor is medium sweet, rather heavy roasted dark malt, coffee, dry fruit, some chocolate and moderate bitterness. Good and balanced body with a roasted aftertaste. Pretty good this one considering relatively low ABV.

Burk från SB. Svart vätska med kaffefärgat skum. Doft av säd, smörkakor, choklad och lite röda bär. I smaken återfinns mörk bitter choklad. Halvfyllig munkänsla. Lite för sött avslut.

Pours black with tall tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, light coffee, basement, smoke, german sausage. Taste is sweet chocolate at first followed by smoked german sausage in the finish. Body is light and smooth, soft carbonation.

Flaska från @thaalcoholic. Svart med ljusbrunt skum. Doften går åt det brända hållet. Smaken går åt samma håll. Lite för klen.

A deep dark porter with a thick frothy brown head. In aroma, nice smooth bitter chocolate with good coffee notes, light fruity esters, light milk chocolate, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with light coffee, milk chocolate, caramel, grassy hops, nice. Can from Seoul.

Can @ home. Pours reddish dark brown with a beige creamy head that quite quickly disipates. Milk chocolate, red fruits, coffee & coffee beans, vanilla and some alcohol in the aroma. Hints of wood, red apples, grass & magnesium. Rather dry taste with a medium bodied, lightly tart and almost sandy texture. Lightly roasted and fruity taste. Dry grassy, ashy and somewhat metallic aftertaste with a bit too low bitterness.
