A slightly hazy orange beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of hops and quite a lot of fruit. The flvaor is sweet with notes of peaches and oranges as well as a grassy hop note, leading to a dry hoppy end. The body is a bit thin.

Florale hopped nose with a good amount of caramel, bread, and a hint of gardinia. Glowing yellow orange body with a fluffy white head that left alot of lacing. Sweet honey, and cramel with a bit of a flower hop snap too it. Mouthyfeel is firm and smooth finishing long with more carmel.

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2011 Very very solid, with a sweet malt flavor and a lovely orange amber complexion. Goes down quite smoothly. Very well balanced and quite unique in the malt profile. I could drink it all night. Great for the price too

Cask. Handpump at barBAR, Tokyo. Amber, slight haze, large tight head. Some fruit & hops in the aroma. Full bodied with grapefruity hops to the fore, underpinned with bags of juicy malt. Drinks like a session bitter despite it’s strength. My mistake! Great to see some fine cask ales amid the flourishing Japanese jibiru scene. This one’s good in the can as well.

Great British Beer Festival 2006. Amber colour. Thick, sweet malt and full bodied but never cloying.

Light orange-ish color, the generous carbonation creates an ample but fleeting head. Mild hoppy aroma with a faint malty base. Some gentle sweetness and fruitiness is also present. Hops are predominant in the flavor profile--but some sweet (almost fruity) malty elements are hidden underneath. A decent Japanese brew--certainly a stand-out from the macro-trash that’s most readily available. Nothing earth-shaking, but pretty good.

Very good beer, but it is strange, knowing the Japanese beers, but it is always great to find these kind of beers.
