This one is OK, but tastes much like a lot of cheap beers you can find here. Pours a lighter amber with a good level of head, it’s got a dirty flavor to it, like the beer was mixed with a bit of mud.

Can at the FW fest. Nice gold pour, white head. Simple hoppy aroma and flavor with a nice malt bill. These guys are classy and I appreciate them working so hard and pouring beers at the FW fest. Cheers guys!

At FWIBF, another good beer from this brewery. A refreshing and citrusy pale ale with some hoppy bitterness, and very drinkable. I bet I could drink this all day and night.

Well, I didn’t try it in Nagano because I wasn’t in Nagano, and don’t plan to go anytime soon. If I do find myself in Nagano, I will certainly drink it there...Anyway, So I see a mysterious can with a bunch of Japanese characters and no indication of what lay within. Stout? Saison? Someting with fish and lychee fruit? Who knows? Not me, that’s who. I seriously thought about not opening it and contimplating it’s mysteries. By the way, it a decent pale ale.

Mild sweet caramel biscuit and toffee nose. Floral, pepper, and citrus hop notes. Pours amber, great frothy lasting head. Flavors of caramel biacuit and toffee up front followed by floral citrus and peppery cascade hop notes. Well carbonated good body solid drinker.

Mi sembra di più una pale ale inglese, cmq buona pulita nell’aspetto e nel sapore, luppolata, fresca! Grande sorpresa!

Fruity & citrus (grapefruit) aroma. Nice copper color, half-inch of slightly rocky head w/ a thick screen of lacing. Very nice sweet to bitter transition on the tongue. Clean and smooth. Medium body (or full body for a pale ale). Actually, this beer approaches an IPA style, rather than pale ale, in aroma and flavor character. A well-made beer.

Can. Amber beer with a cream head. Summer fruit aroma. Malt and summer/tropical fruit flavors. Medium bodied. Summer/tropical fruit lingers with light malt.

12 ounce can - $4.49 at Hop City in Atlanta, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours out a clouded, medium-dark amber body with a sudsy, ivory-hued head. Light lacing as it goes.

Smell: Lightly sweet-scented biscuity-toned malts with a glaze of amber honey and chiefly orangey hops.

Taste: Bready, biscuity malts with a fair amount of honeyed sweetness, though it joins some floral accents for a taste of honeysuckle. Sweet orange, slight lemon from the hops, but a bit of herb pushed into the background. Modestly bitter, leaving it to finish out faintly sweet.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.

Overall: Refreshing, pleasant, though rather cost-prohibitive for regular consumption at nearly five bucks a can (but still pleasant to try).

Pours an attractive clear dark amber. I couldn’t get much of a head, though. Crisp aroma is malty with a fruity note that seems to be equal parts pear and plum. Flavor is mainly malty and has a fruity undertone - I caught a hint of plum and a touch of pear. Texture is smooth with average body and fizz, but still enjoyable. Had at a good sushi bar in Atlanta - not world class, but still worthy if you happen to spot it.
