Agree with KyotoLefty - Yokohama Brewery has improved this beer greatly from when I first tried it a couple years ago. Really nice.

Draught at Yokohama Brewery - RBJG#2. Cloudy amber - white head. Grape fruits, toasted, bisquit, light to medium hoppy, light brew mash, ok light bitterness, eartyy, light mould.

Bottle. Dirty orange, thick white head. low-medium carbonation. Wonderful nose of flowery hops, good citrus coming through too. Smooth palate, with a strong bitter finish. Would have liked the hops/citrus balance to continue all the way to the end, but pretty good overall.

Tap at the brewery. Golden colour with a white head. Sour funky aroma. Sour citric flavour.

Tap at the brewery. Golden colour. Aroma is doughy, bread malt. Taste is lightly bitter, malty. Not so exciting.

Draft at the source. Cloudy golden yellow color, white edge head. Aroma of lemon. Taste is bitter lemon soda.

Draught at the brewery. Nice malt nose, some caramel, good citrus and earthy hops. Very bitter finish. Aroma is still a bit faint, though. Much improved over the earlier versions, and now solid.
