Corked bottle from the meadery, batch 3/11/4, vintage 2011, 2 years old
Measured Final Gravity: 1040
Bright yellow color, with no bottle sediment. The aroma is very fresh and fruity, with a touch of figs, muscatel grape, a whiff of buckwheat. Sweet mouthfeel; grapey flavor, Monbazillac, a touch of fox grape, sugary, and very good alcohol management. It still shows a minimal bitterness in the end.
Mind blowing; satisfying and complex; one of the great.
