Bottle at Chris_o Pre GBBF Shindig 08. Gold/copper, thin lasting beige head. OK bitter, bit malty, bit too sweet and frankly not really very well integrated, which surprised me as York is normally a very good brewer.

Its a warm golden beer with a nice head. The aroma has notes of caramel, a bit of aroma hops and isnt very strong. The flavour has notes of fruit, a lot of apples, and a rather dry and moderate bitterness.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoon (live rating) Gold to amber with white head. Quite a pleasant light bitter with the York Brewery hoppy note, fresh and quite sharp with a lightly roasted malt. Quite acceptable for a Sunday lunchtime.
