Bottle. Perhaps not the most suitable name for a bottled beer. Bronze with a small head. Slightly fruity with a bitter finish. Does what it says on the bottle. A pleasant session bitter. My first from this brewery for some years.

Bottle from Lidl. Steady fizzing gold fat with condition. Nose of lime and pissy nettles with hints of kiwi fruit and minerals. Soft and buttery with nettle citrus, orange peel, fennel and shortbread suggestions. No zing or sparkle but not unpleasant.

A hazy gold coloured beer with a weak white head. A light fruity hop aroma with a distinct, malt background. Dry mouthfeel. The taste starts off with a mildly bitter, citrus fruit hoppiness, then a biscuity malt flavour comes through, giving an overall balanced taste, leading to a mild, hop led finish. Bottle from Lidl, Fakenham.

500ml bottle from Lidl supermarket:
A slight disappointment, I was expecting it to be a step-up from the cask version but it definitely came out worse with it not going down quite as easy as I wanted. There was some nice sweetness earthy with some biscuit/bread malts after that but other than some background fruits there wasn’t a whole lot else going on.

As a yorkshire man myself bitterly dissapointed. Fizzy dishwater ok for a quick fix but nothing appetising to go forward with
