2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUL 25, 2016 Cask. Good pour and well presented. Light golden colour, tight head, the nose is pretty bland. Inoffensive beer but lacking depth of flavour. A low alcohol session ale ideal for summer.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Taking into consideration the low alcohol percentage, this beer is quite tasty, with some sweet and zesty notes. Otherwise a boring beer, wouldn’t recommend.

Golden ale, stale hippy aroma, carbonated rather tasteless flavour, dryish finish. This is really not very good, there is a slight lemony note but it is more or less devoid of flavour. We expect better these days, I’m afraid

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
2015-09-27. Crisp golden yellow body with a creamy off-white head and lace. 3+ Aroma is mild, light grassy hops and malt. Flavour is similarly muted with mild pale malt, light hoppy bitterness. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Inoffensive but dull. Cask at Duck and Drake, Leeds.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at The John Duck, Durham, £2.50/pint.
A pale blonde beer with a thick, white head and slight visible carbonation. The aroma is pleasant and floral but simultaneously has plenty of malt and dairy touches. The nose portends the flavour precisely with some floral hop bitterness but well balanced with wheaty, biscuit malt flavours and short, crisp finish. It’s weakened by an overly grassy aftertaste but is still enjoyable. It’d be great as a summer session beer but otherwise is pleasant if uninspired.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear amber, small but dense white head holds back any real aroma. Light malt, quite floral. Slightly weak, watery middle, lightly hoppy mild bitter finish. Decent enough but not particularly memorable.
