Cask @ York brewery, november 07. Clear, pale golden color with a medium, creamy white head. Lemony, mineral, citric flavor. Sparky. Medium to light mouthfeel, vivid. Grassy citric aroma with a touch of hay maltiness. Resfreshing, lemony golden bitter.

Cask at GBBF, from the CBoB entry firkin. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet mlaty with light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet mlaty with light notes of fruit, leading to a bitter finish. The body is thin. I find it a bit boring.

Really bitter, not my kind but I have to admit it is well brewed. I like the colour.

Cask blackfriers. Aroma has quite a bit of bittering hop, with citrus limey notes and slightly more toasted malts than expected. Taste is similar, on the hoppy side of balanced, quite a bitter dry finish indeed, a good ale.

Comments: Light and easy going golden ale with less character than most others from York.

Date: 24/11/2005 Location: Whitelocks, Leeds Notes: Cask, light but rich golden colour, floral hop aroma. A little thin bodied, but satisfying - it really is a guzzler! Delicate, sweet malts, and lemony/floral hops on the palate, with a light grassy finish. Left beautiful lacing down the pint glass.

Cask conditioned at Tennent’s Bar, Glasgow. Clear golden colour. Creamy mouthfeel and good good hoppy. Full mouthfeel at this abv-level. Very fruity and incredibly tasty. One of few good cask ales whilst in Glasgow.

Cask at The Blues Bar, Harrogate. Pours a clear gold with an average size white head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity. Flavour of floral and citrus hops backed by sweet malt and a light bitter finish. Pretty good session beer, I easily downed several of these in a row.
