[cask] Blast of floral hops, almost like a fruity white wine, in the nose; white grape plus caramel--FRESH. Almost clear straw with no foam. Crisp and fruity in balance with a nice bitterness but a bit weak in the malt with surprisingly low hops flavour. Light body, low carbonation, clean yet weak.

Cask at the Lincolnshire Poacher, Nottingham. A very good session beer with a light fruity aroma and a citrus and grassy flavour. Excellent as the first beer of the night but could fall flat against more flavourful ones.

Cask at Thomsons Edinburgh ... amber colour ... light fruity nose ... musty fruity hop ... quite astringent... quite tart

albertane (377) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2008
Cask at the Yorkshire Terrier, York. This is just the kind of blond ale I like, and I especially like it when a beer this tasty has an ABV this low. It has a slightly hazy pale gold almost yellow colour, a fruity aroma with lots of citrus and the flavour is grassy with more citrus fruit. Very enjoyable.

A Mes rate: Cask at the Crown and Kettle.
Pale gold with a decent white head and lots of lace. Vaguely hoppy aroma with HEAVY citrus. Citric fest continues into the flavour. itís possibly a little too much. Tastes almost like it has had lemon added. Tea like malt flavour intially but thankfully itís short lived leading to a nice floral finish.

Cask @ York brewery, november 07. Clear, pale golden color with a medium, creamy white head. Lemony, mineral, citric flavor. Sparky. Medium to light mouthfeel, vivid. Grassy citric aroma with a touch of hay maltiness. Resfreshing, lemony golden bitter.

Cask at GBBF, from the CBoB entry firkin. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet mlaty with light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet mlaty with light notes of fruit, leading to a bitter finish. The body is thin. I find it a bit boring.

Really bitter, not my kind but I have to admit it is well brewed. I like the colour.

Cask blackfriers. Aroma has quite a bit of bittering hop, with citrus limey notes and slightly more toasted malts than expected. Taste is similar, on the hoppy side of balanced, quite a bitter dry finish indeed, a good ale.
