The Larry, Nuneaton. Bronze with a shaving foam collar and drapes. Burton snatch/ Battenberg aroma. Soft, heavily burtonised sog of vanilla egg custard doughiness and oak. I like it except it tastes almost exactly like Pedigree.

A Mes rate. Cask at, well, let’s face it, who gives a fuck where I had it?
Clean golden brown with a thick, frothy white head and lots of sticky lacing. Reasonable grassy and aromatic snout that give no hint of the approaching hell to come. Once it the mouth it becomes a frightening display of wholemeal bread and apple skin with hints of metal and unidentified fruit. I’ve had worse beers but this is a startling effort at mediocrity that has been executed badly. To be honest, I’d rather sit on a drawing pin.

Cask Conditioned handpump Moon On The Square Northampton. An amber coloured beer with an off-white bubbly head and lacing. Sweetish fruity rye notes throughout. Tends towards sickliness. Biscuity malts. Fruity but needing backbone. Good bits, bad bits.
