Cask at Congress, Longton. Pours golden amber. Citrus led bog standard session bitter. Quite thin.

Pint at the Greyfriar in Reading. A very pleasant bitter, light and slightly fruity. Has a good hop balance that doesn’t cover over the malt base.

On tap at the Bracebridge Heath cricket club beer festival. Clear amber beer. With a small off white head. Aroma has malts and caramel. Taste also has this with bit of soft fruit and bitter finish.

Cask at the Victoria Inn, Rugby, 12/03/14. Lightly hazed golden with a big old off white head. Nose is toffee, grain, dark fruit, raisen, light spice, biscuit malt. Taste comprises biscuit malt, orchard fruits, nutty twang, straw, light spice, toffee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying bitter linger in the close. Decent enough bitter.

Light bronze. Biscuity, crackery character. Complex yeastiness and dry finish, accented by richly toasted caramels. Nice brew.

Cask; light golden, thin white head; good hoppy aroma, flowery; taste is bitter with plenty of grassy hops, a bit of fruit (gooseberry?) and a solid malty based; dry; very pleasant and in top condition at The Red Lion, Wareham.
