Bottle conditioned. Hazy orangey body. Frothy white head that lasts throughout. Nose is citrus, marmalade, sulphur and orange. Bitter with some tartness. Dry finish. A little thin bodied. Rather delicious, grows on you as you drink it.

4.0% amber colour with a good head, fruity malt aroma, nice fruity bitter malt taste, not 4.8% as I have seen it reviews.

Bottle. Vibrant looking amber beer with a light head. The aroma is fairly strongly hopped, and the flavour is very well hopped with a long bitter finish. Overall a very nice well hopped beer.

Tasted by half pint at the Wenlock Arms (05/01/06). It pours a clear, amber to tawny hue, with very thin white cap. The smell is mildly toffeeish, backed by a firm body of earthy and lightly floral hops (Goldings like), with a citrussy twist. Fruitiness-dominated palate, with a little bit of chewy fruits and a residual toffeeish flavour treading lightly on the top; gradually an immensely tea-leafy bitterness prevails and lingers, added by a tangy touch to accompany another faint tinge of bitter-sour fruits in the aftertaste. Soft on the mouthfeel and very light-bodied for its alc. strength. A good honest ale from this newly-established micro-brewery.
