On cask at Young Henry’s, pours a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma and flavour is pretty bland, with biscuity malt, maybe a touch of English hops. Clean but boring as hell.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap, The Shakespeare Hotel, Sydney. A deep and ruddy Amber with a small but lasting and lacing off-White to light believe head. Mid-fruit aromas that border of tropical with gentle pale malt and nutty characters. Light to medium body, medium carbonation and a moderate length goth and intensity finish. Had a few of these over the course of an evening and it made for a great session.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2016 Hand pump (at Keg and Brew). Amber with a slight haze and an off-white, frothy head that lasts perfectly. Aroma is of floral hops with caramel, biscuits, apricots, gooseberries and some light buttery notes. Flavour is a mild grassy hop bitterness with zesty marmalade, biscuits, caramel, light toasty/nutty notes and a dry earthy finish. Light bodied with very soft carbonation, a watery texture and a good length finish. Amazingly well balanced and highly sessionable bitter!

Aroma subtly of slightly sweet malt. taste slightly sweet with a hint of spices and low bitterness. Light to medium body. Crisp, smooth and slightly dry with a bit of an unpleasant tarty finish which is a bit off-putting. Ordinary.

375 ml can. Red-brown body with a tight white head. Not much on the nose - biscuit mostly with some pine and flowers. Taste reveals a bit more with a grassy bitterness and a touch of pepper overlaying the malty sweetness. Lingering finish with a light biscuit aftertaste. Ok but a bit subdued overall.
