COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our refreshing take on a classic style. This pineapple hefeweizen explodes with sweet and tangy fruit flavors backed by fragments of spicy clove and cinnamon. GO AHEAD… PULL THE PIN!

Nice cloudy appearance, looks like hefeweizen so that’s cool. Aroma is kind of fruity, banana, and grassy. Not a ton of pineapple or anything like that. Taste is much better than the aroma. I get a little of sweet pineapple, clove, banana and bubblegum. It’s pretty juicy which is refreshing. This would be awesome at the beach. Overall, it’s a good hefeweizen. Nothing crazy, but it’s solid. Cheers

Can as a trade extra. Pours a bright, cloudy yellow with a thick foamy white head. Aroma is wheat, straw, grassy, and a little funk. Flavor was pretty normal for the hefe style. Pineapple was there, but not as strong as the name would suggest. Highly drinkable. Light body and texture, fizzy carbonation, super easy finish. Crushable.

Pours a hazy golden yellow from the can with fluffy white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of wheat, hefe esters, and overlying tropical fruitiness. Taste is what you expect, a pineapple hefeweizen. Could use a bit more of the fruit, but the balance is nice. Solid interpretation of the style.

Draft at Young Veterans Brewing Company. Cloudy gold with a short white head. Aroma is big yeast and citrus fruit with wheat and soft malt notes. Taste is big yeast, lemon, toasted malt, wheat and light bubblegum. Body is light-medium with a soft bubbly carbonation. Lots of lemon and yeast notes on the back end with grains, wheat and light bubblegum.

8/2/2014. Hazy pale yellow with a white head. Taste like most other hefeweizen with lots of wheat and banana. I did not pick out any pineapple flavors at all.

Really enjoyed this one. On tap at the brewery. Sour fruit and yeasty smell to it. Taste is awesome, I’ve only had one other pineapple beer and this one definitely passed that one up. Very tangy flavors and smooth on the palate with a sour finish.

Draft: Aroma is yeasty grapefruit pulp and whole orange. Cloudy amber, thin head. Yeasty lemon flavor. Tart, dry, and thin. Refreshing and light, a curiously yet nicely sour fruit beer. Probably needs a tweak or too.

On tap at Eat in VA Beach. Poured a cloudy deep gold, decent head. Aroma was wheat, slightly undefined fruit. Flavor was wheat, a bit of again undefined fruit, honestly in my opinion trending more towards banana than pineapple. Not bad, just sort of muddled flavor. Pretty full bodied. Sad to say that I was utterly unaware of this brewery up until this trip to the Beach. I need to get out more.

Expected to hate it but pretty darn good considering it is made from wheat and pineapple. Pours a hazy light yellow color. High carbonation, light body. Really crisp on the palate and pineapple finishes it nicely. Interestingly staff told me this is most expensive beer to brew - who would have thought hops cheaper than pineapple juice. Great summer beer. Even in the winter.
