Bottle, 2.0%. BB April 91. 17 years ago. Weak chocolate aroma. Clear dark brown colour, no head. Sweet flavour, some bread, a lot of chocolate. A little vinous, but survived the years well.

Bottled. Deep ambery brown colour, not much head. ARoma is vanilla, raisins, some roasted notes. Flavour is quite much the same along with a nice toffeeishness coming in.

A beer that reminds me of the old men that used to frequent the off-sales I used to work for. Well-known throughout the country as a weak tasting, warm drink, not the best but good forpulling at the old nostalgia chords.
