Bottle at the Priory Centre (oh the irony), St Neots. Gold/copper with a bit of white head. Bready, nutty, slightly metallic aroma. Boring bittersweet taste with a sweet/sour caramel aftertaste. Not a patch on the cask version but drinkable.

Amber colour, no head. Not knowing the style I thougt bitter meant really bitter which the beer is not... Taste is fruity sweetness with a medium bitter finish.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2014 500ml bottle poured in a chalice. A: Pours a golden orange bit cloudy color. Forms a medium white bit yellow aired head. Medium retention and some nice lacings S: Smells like a good bitter :), I mean, caramel malts, toffee and grassy and citrus hops. Bready. Simple but pleasant T: Follows the nose. A caramel upfront followed by a watery and malty body with a good bitter-grassy-pine-citrus hoppy aftertaste. A little bit metallic. In overall a dry and bitter taste, no sweetness M: Very light wayery body. Nice medium carbonation. Reasonable ( an good!) hoppy bitter aftertaste O: Very drinkable as a English Bitter should be. Nice one [ BA Review @ 3/6/2012 ]

Butelka. Piana szybko znikła. Kolor pomarańczowy, zmętniony. Aromat słodowy, trawiasty. Goryczka dosyć wyraźna. Jest owocowość.

500ml bottle from an off licence. Clear and bubbly light amber with a huge fizzy/frothy off-white lasting head. Light cereal grain, grassy and slightly funky hop bitterness, moderate sweetness and alcohol - not bad. Taste follows, just a tad less sweetness - decent, if boring (7-). Average somewhat chewy body, modest carbonation, a bit dry and grassy in the finish, just a whisper of acidity in the aftertaste. Not horrible.
