Ingredients: Pale ale and crystal malt, chocolate malt, special blend of sugars, Fuggle and Goldings hops, real dark chocolate and chocolate essence.
Chocolate malt and real dark chocolate are combined with Young’s award winning rich, full flavoured dark beer to craft a satisfyingly indulgent, but never overly sweet experience.

Średnio obfita, beżowa piana utrzymująca się zadziwiająco krótko, z praktycznie niewidocznym lacingiem. Czuć czekoladę i raczej delikatną paloność.

Dobrze pijalne. Dosyć spore wysycenie. Goryczka słaba.

At home poured into an English pint. Pours black, tan head. Aroma is very chocolatey, a bit of roast coffee, smells sweet with faint bitterness. Taste is smooth, nice sweet chocolate, a bit of bitter black coffee. Pretty good. Smooth mouthfeel, mild carbonation. Sessionable beer, not as sweet as I was expecting in a good way.

This one came by nitrocan. It poured blackboard dark, and had a moderately dirty beige respectable lasting head. Taste had the obligatory gypsum water base, with a great chocolaty malt foundation, and just a hint of toastiness. Hops were not noticeable, but did their job to keep the malt from being cloying or overly sweet. Well constructed, and goes down well.

1.7.2014. Dark brown brew with brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate, roasted malts, some bitterness and sweetness. Malty taste is similar with chocolate hints and some bitterness. Finish is maybe more into dryness than sweetness.

Creamy, very smooth. A strong taste that hits I can’t quite identify but reminds me of the aftertaste of burnt pork sausages or spare ribs.

Botte. Pours opaque black with thin tan head. Lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate. Taste of big dark chocolate and a bit of cofee. Medium body. Onctuous. Oily. Me like.

Bottle. Black with large brown creamy head, lot of lacing. Aroma mainly malts, sort of lager-like. Medium body. Taste fainly malty first, with milk chocolate kicking in later. Not bad, but somehow I expected more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
