Really good beer! - I recommend. The chocolate changes the beer and making it’s bitterness so sweet... Like!

500ml bottle. Dark brown with a foamy beige head. Flavors are chocolate syrup, chocolate milk, vanilla and marshmallows with ashy and nutty notes. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, thin texture, watery.

From a 33cl bottle, pours a black to brown with a nice tan head that did not stay long. Aroma is little, with hints of chocolate. Flavors of light sweet chocolate, hints of coffee, light cream. Light creamy body but not much. Quite disappointed really, from all the good things I heard of it, I can’t find it. Very watery body, I was really expecting something "Double" rich finish, but not really. it is not bad in flavors, but lots is lacking. the end of the beer got better, but it was the end, so it is disappointed.

It has a very good aroma of good chocolate and you will also find a light aroma of coffee. The flavor is pronounced chocolate, all the way through to the final.

This is fucking delicious. Mild bitter taste, lots of coffee flavor, and CHOCOLATE. Wonderful stout flavor and scent. I love this brew!

Opaque black color. The brown foamy head dies fast but creates strong legs. Visually a little dull. Aromas and flavors of cocoa, coffee, nuts, herbal spices. Extra rich toasty and strong bitter taste of chocolate and coffee. Overwhelming spices and too bitter for my taste, should be more sweet. Creamy heavy body with faint carbonation. Chalky with chunks of detritus. Very long bitter and strong invading mouth coating. An average beer with a treacherous smell. I find it hard to drink and tasted better local chocolate beers...Disappointed!

On tap. Best Chocolate stout I’ve ever had. It’s all there, roastiness, coffee, malt forward. Sweet without being cloying. The chocolate blends into all that perfectly. Great Beer!!

Bottle from Tesco, Gilesgate, Durham. Pours black with a foamy, diminishing, light tan head. The aroma is rich and bittersweet with coffee and chocolate, which carries through into the flavour, which again is rich, smoky and bitter, with some chocolate (less than expected), black coffee and bbq notes to a finish that is thinner than expected. A bit harsh on the whole, some enjoyable flavours but a bit of an effort getting through a whole pint.

Barwa czarna, piana beżowa, kożuszek utrzymuje się do końca. W smaku nuty palone, ciemna czekolada, nuty kawowe. Wytrawne na finiszu, lekko cierpkie. W aromacie dominują nuty czekoladowe, kakao.
