Second best to Samuel Smiths oatmeal stout. Intense coffee aftertaste! Chocolate middle! Just right!

On tap. Best Chocolate stout I’ve ever had. It’s all there, roastiness, coffee, malt forward. Sweet without being cloying. The chocolate blends into all that perfectly. Great Beer!!

Bottle from Tesco, Gilesgate, Durham. Pours black with a foamy, diminishing, light tan head. The aroma is rich and bittersweet with coffee and chocolate, which carries through into the flavour, which again is rich, smoky and bitter, with some chocolate (less than expected), black coffee and bbq notes to a finish that is thinner than expected. A bit harsh on the whole, some enjoyable flavours but a bit of an effort getting through a whole pint.

Barwa czarna, piana beżowa, kożuszek utrzymuje się do końca. W smaku nuty palone, ciemna czekolada, nuty kawowe. Wytrawne na finiszu, lekko cierpkie. W aromacie dominują nuty czekoladowe, kakao.

Deep dark black pour with a small tan head. Aromas are roasted malts, burnt bread, coffee, liquorice, and some chocolate. Taste is moderately sweet, dry. Mouthfeel is medium heavy.

Något bränd smak. Lite besk eftersmak. En bra stout i min smak. Ska jag köpa en stout, passar denna mig ganska bra. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap. Pours a watery black with little head. Thin mouthfeel- not what I would expect from a stout. A bit of toasted malt flavor but not overly sweet.

Interesting beer, but still can’t hold a candle to the Samuel Smith Chocolate Stout. Check out my review of this beer >>>>>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhOZDDYn1Zc

Nitro can. Thick dark pour. Thin tan creamy head. Super smooth and creamy full body. Quite enjoyable feel. Fairly mild yet pleasant aroma. Chocolate up front with a slight roasty/earthy quality in finish. Good stuff.
