Nice offwhite head, but disappears quickly. Weak smell, maybe to cold. The chocolate is coming through even before I taste it. Dark chocolate and coffee is the first things that strikes me in the taste. Miss a bit more body, the chocolate is gone immediatly when I swallow. I love chocolate, but this beer will not help my cravings. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Pours black with thick, creamy tan head. Aroma is very vanilla, chovatw, sweet, lactose, a little roast. Taste is very chocolate, roasty, a bit thin, medium bodied, flat for even nitro, buttery. Overall, it’s okay.

Pours a good black with a medium offwhite head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of dark chocolate, coffee and toasted granola. Taste is of chocolate, nuts, coffee and the slightest hint of ash. Body is light to medium and carbonation medium-high. Really chocolatey but not too sweet. Good!

From a bottle on one of the first chilly fall evenings. Just about right for colder weather. Pours appropriately black and opaque with a thin tan head and nice lacing. Dark chocolate is the dominant flavor with roasted malt, vanilla and coffee in there for good measure. The chocolate and hops balance out the sweetness well. Very enjoyable if not super complex. It is what it claims to be, so full marks for that.

Pours with a thin tan head that fades fairly quickly. Rich chocolate aroma in the glass and rich dark brown colour. Very smooth silk feel in the mouth with dark chocolate flavours that linger on the palette. Very lightly carbonated. Overall a pleasure to drink and a definite favourite!
