(Bottled) Very dark brown with an off-white foam head. Roasted, slightly hoppy scent. Creamy mouthfeel. Very chocolaty and milky in the mouth. Surprisingly lacking in aftertaste but still rather nice.

Oct 6, 2008 Pretty pitch black pour with a thick two finger milk chocolate head almost like a nitro. Mostly roasted coffee aromas, Taste is cold cocoa mixes, sweet chocolate, slightly burnt and roasty malt bitterness. Smooth drinker.

Oct 4, 2008 Very dark with a lovely thick head. Chocolate attacks the nose a bit along with some coffee. Not sickly at all and a pleasant long finish. I’ve had this on tap at the old brewery and many a bottle but I have noticed a recent drop in the consistency of bottles.

Sep 30, 2008 Pours dark ebony with a thick cardboard colored head that lasts a long time and leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma is roast malts, english hops, chocolate, and walnuts. Flavor is sweet and smooth, rich chocolate and roast malts, bitter hops to start. Finishes off a little drier with a nice slightly bitter hop tingle and some of the lingering roast and chocolate to back it up. Mouthfeel is thick but not overly sticky feels alot drier than it tastes, carbonation is at an almost perfect level. Overall a great chocolate stout, one of my favorites

Sep 29, 2008 Dark brown, almost black pour, thick foamy head and serious lacing. Thick mouthfeel, malty and sweet, chocolate with low burnt undertones. Solid, I loved it.

Sep 29, 2008 Can, 50cl. Nitrocarbonated. Pours a pitch black beer with a very dense lightbrown head. The aroma is roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is rounded and has roasted malt and chocolate. The mouthfeel is gentle because of the nitrocarbonation and the fine bubbles. Leaves a good chocolate taste. Overall a good chocolatestout.
