Not quite ’double’ chocolate, this was silky smooth and very creamy. Not as chocolatey as I expected, but good nonetheless. Best when slightly below room temperature. You’re missing a lot of you drink it straight from the fridge.

Black pour with a large frothy head and clinging lace. Chocolate aroma. Very nice chocolate malt flavour. Smooth texture with a slight bitterness.

Bottle from Systemet. I've had this before on tap and loved it then. Now I was quite disappointed. It wasn't bad but weak and thin in taste and a rapidly disappearing palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, rail soda. Pours a dark brown beer with a bubbly tanned head. Aroma of chocolate and malts basically. Flavor is quite complex, milky chocolate, malty sweetness and it has a fizzy, medium watery mouthfeel. Very nice stout in my humble opinion.

Rich dark brown pour with fair tan head. Big chocolatey, malty nose with roasted meat and coffee. Taste is malty, caramel, nutty, dark chocolate. Creamy, long finish. Cracking good beer.

I simply love this delicious choco stout. I was at local area beer boost bar and they were not familiar with it. I said oh mama this is special beer to drink, please try. many people at bar sample small bottle and then reaction as if lous prima himself walk in with pair of beauteous women having glorious butt cheeks for all to admire. The owner began opening bottle after bottle for everyone to enjoy and we toast multiple times to choco, louis prima, a man with glorious mustache and this special beer. telling from my heart, this beer is simpal supar with many many delicious choco heavenly flavors. I wish to go to rain forest and harvest choco beans with the native women who do such task and admire their glorious cheeks while we sing and know we are picking bean to flavor this young stout of many flavors, i love this beer and i love the you.

This beer is an amazing combination of thick rich chocolate malts and real dark chocolate just as advertised. The slight hop aroma and bitterness is easily and gracefully replaced by good deep dark chocolate.

Havn’t seen this for a while then found 3 bottles in a store and bought one. Now I see I havn’t rated it here b4. I remember not finding it as chocolate tasteing as claimed but do like this stout. But this bottle: carbinated and black looking, smells like chocolate flakes and chocolate malt. I think mabye more chocolate smell this time then the oither’s. Reminding me I think of the oatmeal, stout or w/e stout from Mcassline st.ambroise. Taste well mabye this time there is more chocolate taste then b4 or same(forget)but I dont think double, kinda cola ish, roastedness taste, medim bodied a little bitterness and ends kinda dry. I still like it,but double chocolate, I’m not so sure. Cheer’s.

Great chocolate and malt flavors. A really good after taste. It’s a little too carbonated up front for my taste, but good beer especially for the price.

Pours a deep dark brown color with a fair tan headthat fades to some lacing. Aroma of Chocolate, roasted malt, bit od coffee, caramel and nuts.. Taste of chocolate, roasted malt, caramel with bit of dark fruit and nuts in the background. Mild bitterness and the finish is quite dry. Full bodied, smooth with a rich creamy texture. Not overly sweet and very well balanced. Very enjoyable but quite filling. Good way to end the day.

What a great beer For something readily available in South Africa this is truly a benchmark I keep coming back Not much to add to what’s been said before other than if it tastes this good here I wonder what it is like fresh!
