Bottle. Dark brown color, little head. Aroma of roasted malts, or coffee aroma. Flavor was little bit smoky, like bitter chocolate, medium spicy. Nice medium bitter aftertaste

Black colour, brown head that lasts and leaves good lacing. The smell of dark chocolate is overpowering obviously, but aromas of coffee and dark fruit are present too. Taste is medium bitter, with a coffee-like afertaste. The body is on the weaker side, which I don’t like. Overall I expected more.

Pours an opaque dark brown, bordering on black, with some slight deep red hi-lights when extremely backlit. Moderate, mocha head, settling rapidly to a thin film, which does not mute the aromas at all. And what aromas! Dark chocolate, cocoa nibs, and cafe au lait, are the most predominant on the nose. The mouth feel is velvety smooth, bringing tastes that fulfill the promises of the aromas. There is the addition of some medium bitterness on the swallow. This is the type of chocolatey stout I often crave, and this one delivers big time. In a word......outstanding!

Pours a dark black with a thick khaki head that left a lot of lacing around the glass. The aroma is chocolate! However, i do pick up some coffee, nuttiness, malts, and cocoa. The taste is very similar. I have had both bottle and nitro can and i must say i prefer the bottle over the nitro can.

Bottle. dark-chocolate brown with particularly red glints at the edges. thin, light-brown head. Aroma is chocolaty (sweet), with strong dark bread crust and lovely English yeast, including touch of cherry/fruit/pastry. Yum. Body is medium-light-to-light, watery. Flavor of fruity dark chocolate, some bread. Touch of clean grass. Rather clean flavor, less delicious than the aroma. Overall, a very good chocolate stout but lacking in body and, to a lesser extent, flavor. Nonetheless, the beer is in possession of excellent yeast character, particularly in the aroma.

500ml bottle. Pitch black body with a low tan head. Deep chocolate aroma, with some roasted notes. Sweet chocolate flavors with some minerals and roasted notes. Pretty straight forward, but really well made. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a bottle. Pours black and has a beige head. Smells of chocolate, cocoa and malt. Sweet chocolate taste with a cocoa bitter aftertaste. Not a huge flavorful stout. Still very good..
