my love affair with Youngs continues with what has become my favorite stout... no comparison to Guinness. opaque with fine beige lacing, aroma/flavor of chocolate, yes, but also strong coffee. nitro cans are the best. this is the stout that makes me look forward to chilly weather... and i dislike chilly weather!

Very lovely chocolate brew. A taste of licorice and chocolate. Long lasting taste. A good aperitif.

Great look, looks like a stout shold, pours nice thick, but quick evaoporating head. Dark Caramel in color, Smells of coffee and chocolate (mocha) with a hint of walnut and raisin. Taste almost exactly like the smell, but the chocolate quicky goes away after the first few sips, but does kind of come back at the finish. Overall, not a bad stout, but I’ve had much better.

500ml bottle. Pours an opaque black with a tanned head. Rich chocolate smell with a hint of coffee. Slight sour taste but finishes with a strong chocolate and roast finish.

Lovely full stout with the chocolate coming through. It lacks a depth of flavour to take it over 4 stars for me though. But still lovely! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nitrocan. Pours thick and black. Small, thick and creamy light tan head. Chocolate and coffe aroma, taste is chocolate sweet and coffe-like bitter. Almost no carb, creamy mouthfeel and lingering aftertaste. NiceFinishes with licqorice...

Finale tostato molto persistente.
