I had this on tap at Eli Cannon's in Middletown. It appeared a very dark black, but was lighter up close. The head was too thin and didn't stick around. The taste was excellent with (obviously) strong hints of chocolate and some coffee. It had some bitterness and finished smooth.

UPDATED: MAY 27, 2016 From Hipercor. In Teku glass. Watching Game of Throned 6x02. Low ABV beer that is best enjoyed in short sips thanks to its nice chocolate bitterness (not excessive) and good body

Tap at j Ryans with commonmac and rosskyle and samadouche. On nitro. Black with thick tan head and excellent lacing. Dark malt aroma. Very smooth. Chocolate. Does what it’s supposed to, but could have done even more.

Pours a dark caramel color with small foam head. Aroma is of coffee, toffee, chocolate. Taste starts off slightly bitter with hints of chocolate and coffee. Soft carbonation. In my opinion it could have used a little more carbonation. This stout is similar to Samuel Smith’s Chocolate Stout only not as sweet. A good desert beer.

Bottle at home listening to records. I like this. Obvious taste of chocolate and very moreish. Only quibble is it’s a bit watery for a stout.

Piana piękna, jak bita śmietana na czekoladzie, tylko beżowa:D Aromat deserowej czekolady, lekko sztuczny. Trochę wiśni może? W smaku to samo, z na prawdę fajną, czekoladowo - paloną goryczką. Lekko kwaskowate. Całkiem niezłe.
