(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear amber with a small, white head. Vague, citrusy freshness in the aroma. Medium body with a weak note of nuts and fruit. And then again this lightly citrusy aroma hopping that also leaves some bitterness. Quite refreshing. 160906

Aroma is caramel with some honey and floural hops. Taste is similar a bit boring but drinkable.

Bottle in Scotland. Not much flavour up front, rather shallow. No head. Crisp. Bubbly. Dark golden. Probably better cold. Very Smooth, one of the heaviest blonds I’ve had.

An orange beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet spicy; (citronmelisse?) and peaches. The flavor is sweet malty and rather spicy, I pick up cloves and citronmelisse?. The end is only slightly bitter. A refreshing and different beer.

Bottle picked up in Waitrose, Witney, July 10th 2006. Maybe I liked this one so much because I tried it imediately after two unimpressive lager style beers, anyway I really liked this. Golden in colour with a small white head great hoppy, citrusy aroma and a wonderful hoppy taste which had a great lingering bitter finish. I don’t know whether they have changed this significantly since it was added to this database but there is a label change and unless I am going mad I thought it said Styrian Hops.

Golden colour with a thick white head. Malty aroma with a little sourness. Though it’s very fizzy, the taste is pleasant enough as is the bitter finish. But I wonder what made this different from a lager.

Bottled: Golden coloured. Clear. Small white head. Flavour and aroma is quite bland. Has some fresh herbal notes and light citric notes as well. Is quite dry. Quite light bodied. Ends on a vague bitter note. Easy to drink.
