Pours a deep, irn-bruey gold with a light white head. Flavour is fresh and hoppy with some melon, some grapefruit, and a gentle presence of honey malt. Finish is dry yet thirst-quenching with a slightly disappointing quick tapering. Over all a very fine ale. madquacker (715), Canberra ACT, Australia

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 20, 2009 Bottle, Threshers, Aughton. Looked a bit lagery in the glass. Grassy hop, restrained citrus, lightly bitter finish. Probably not one to linger over too long, but its drinkable and inoffensive fayre and helped wash down a chinese saturday night banquet nicely. Ever so slightly better than average, and as such, worth a pop. DruncanVeasey (2720), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2008 Hazy in the bottle, so I pretty much tipped the lot in. Wring of dishcloth, proper nettley green hop aroma. Goldings? Mellow wine gum citrus and less of the chlorophyll in the mouth, with buttery dunked Malted Milk and alcohol back-up. Overlaps with the Struise Kloeke Blonde I had last night- that kind of silky lemony hoppage, with a hint of sting. You know what I’m talking about. Decent GA, but I’ve had better pasteurised.
