Some cereal on the nose underpinned by citrus/orange notes. Pours a deep, irn-bruey gold with a light white head. Flavour is fresh and hoppy with some melon, some grapefruit, and a gentle presence of honey malt. Finish is dry yet thirst-quenching with a slightly disappointing quick tapering. Over all a very fine ale.

Nice golden colour with crystal texture. Sweet and citrusy. Quite nice but a little cloying and synthetic.

Bottle in a youngs pub thats just next to the market porter in borough market, but cant remember the name. Alround rating: Very hoppy, bitter, citrus, grassy, but with enopugh pale malts to keep it interesting. A nice beer infact, plesently suprised.

(Bottle, Calthorpe Arms, Bloomsbury, London, 15 April 2009) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of citrus, grass and fresh hops. Malty, fruity taste with citrus and fresh notes of grassy, floral hops in the finish. Fairly dry with light body. Fresh and tasty golden ale.

Bottle. Pitchers Pub Västerås. Golden colour with a white head. Fruity, honey, grassy hops, citrus, white bread. Rather sweet, but more dry and bitter towards the finish.

Bottle, Threshers, Aughton. Looked a bit lagery in the glass. Grassy hop, restrained citrus, lightly bitter finish. Probably not one to linger over too long, but its drinkable and inoffensive fayre and helped wash down a chinese saturday night banquet nicely. Ever so slightly better than average, and as such, worth a pop.

Hazy in the bottle, so I pretty much tipped the lot in. Wring of dishcloth, proper nettley green hop aroma. Goldings? Mellow wine gum citrus and less of the chlorophyll in the mouth, with buttery dunked Malted Milk and alcohol back-up. Overlaps with the Struise Kloeke Blonde I had last night- that kind of silky lemony hoppage, with a hint of sting. You know what I’m talking about. Decent GA, but I’ve had better pasteurised.

Bottle conditioned. Gold to orange coloured with a slim white head. Sweet hoppy aroma with underlying caramel malts. Fruity hoppy taste with some honey. lemon and a short bitter finish. Good and drinkable.
