[500ml bottle shared with Dad - cheers!] Pours gold, slight white head. Pleasant soft fizz. Light malt and grassy flavours with floral hints. Relatively sweet for an English bitter. This is a decent, easy-drinking, refreshing summer picnic or barbecue ale.

500ml bottle. Golden amber colour with a soft white head and citrus and hop aroma. Full flavoured with a taste of lemon rind coming through. Light in the mouth to start with but develops a bitter finish.

500ml bottle. Very light pale colour with almost no head. Fruity hop aroma and light easy drinking palate. This is the first time I’ve tried this beer and its very different from most bitters I’ve had, almost lager like. I could enjoy this on a hot summers day over most bland aussie mega-lagers. Would drink again.

500ml bottle into a half pint glass. Barely hazy gold, white fondant foam. Super sulfury, like a skunked Grolsch. Sweet and metallic with caramel malts and berry. A tad "chunky" with an iron and grapefruit-lime character. Medium-plus heft, sugary, "wet". Neck label accurately describes hop character. Lagerish, similar to a confused bopils.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a lacing white head. Grainy and cornish aroma. Flavour starts soft hoppy with a mild fruity accent and a mild bitterness. Light caramel malt base. Medium dry finish with a delicate bitterness.

50cl bottle from Sainsburys. Gold with a thin white head; slightly sour aroma, with herbal hops and stewed fruit; full, fruity, malty flavour, again slightly stewed; with a gentle bitter finish.
