2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Clear deep golden, small head. Fruity nose with slight cardboard. Sweetish with clea mouthfeel and light-medium body. Some sweaty ripe fruits, salty mid bitter finish. Just another half lifeless English keg ale.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: DEC 14, 2011 Draught at Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm, on December 13, 2011
As "Youngs London Gold"
Clear golden color, or copper (in bad light), small off-white head. Buttery, creamy, malty, grainy, caramel taste. Metallic and apple aftertaste. Prolonged dry bitterness. MEdium thin to thin mouthfeel, medium low bitterness. Malty, fairly weak scent. A tad bit boring perhaps, but it has great "hinkabilitet"!

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very pale gold with short-lived slight loose head. Aroma of lemon and (vegetable not floral) hops. Light and fizzy. Taste has a pleasant start with a light but nice balance of light malty sweetness with tangy fruit and hops, but giving way to a rather harsh bitter finish. Overall, OK but not quite right.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled. A yellow coloured beer with a minimal whitish head. A non-descript grassy aroma with a wishy-washy taste. A bit of grass again, but this is truly ordinary and dull.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
03/03 0.5 l bottle courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured a golden body with medium sized head. Lemony aroma, might be a little bit stale, but wasn’t offensive to me like it was to my friend. On the other hand, flavor was stale, showed some lemony/cornflakes note along with honey/egg malt. Watery short finish. It’s not really like a pale lager, contains some yeast that gives at least some body but doesn’t help with the flavor though. Well, wasn’t so extremely bad after all, but wasn’t nothing good for sure!
