On tap @ Bayswater arms. This is a clear golden one with a small fading white top. The aroma is light malty with a tone of cellar and smoke. The last part could easily be the guy smoking just outside. A bit anonymous, boring and definitely low. It’s soft on the carbonation and it has a thin almost watery body. Mild malty flavor, some leafs perhaps? Not really much going on her. Low on the bitterness as well. No, this was not something I have to try again, even if it wasn’t any bad flavors here. 20.07.2012

Weak and watery at first, but the aftertaste is actually the one that lifts this one up over approval. Nice and crispy and overwhelmingly refreshing.

Bottle, 4.8%. Weak bready aroma. Clear golden colour. The head is white and frothy, but stable enough. The flavour starts off surprisingly malty. Then comes a more bready note, a bit like lager. The finish is nicely bitter, slightly creamy, and has a mild floral aroma hop.

DraftDodger (1035) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 11, 2016
Copenhagen 11/4 2016. 50 cl bottle from Føtex. Silhouette of London and a golden goat on the label. Pours clear golden yellow with white head. Settles as thin layer of foam - almost transparent. Aroma is malty sweet with a little wet cardboard and a little sourness. Pretty strong carbonation for an English brew. Taste is medium bitter with a little sweetness for balance. This is not horrible or anything like that - but it actually reminds me more of a standard German pilsner than an English beer.
