Giallo dorato, velata, con abbondante schiuma cremosa. Aroma di malto, con note di caramello e di frutta. Nel palato ha un attacco dolce, con note fruttate e una luppolatura molto leggera. Corpo watery.

It looks the goods. Pale gold with a puffy white head and plenty of sparkle. I hope this has travelled well as it’s a fair old way from London to these shaky isles. Light, zesty aromas of citrus peel are the first impression with maybe some green herbs as well. It doesn’t exactly leap out of the glass. The flavour is fresh and of green gooseberries, white currants and thyme. There’s a lovely bubbly carbonation across the tongue that makes me wonder that if it has come this far, I wonder wonder wonder what it is like closer to home, or even at its home. I’ll have to find out.

500ml bottle from newsagents near Kings Cross, London (£2.69):
Despite being my only choice when I picked this one up I wasn’t disappointed by this one, sure it was quite a standard beer but the sweetness at the start kept things interesting & enjoyable whilst the balance was good & it went down easy. It’s definitely not a classic but I liked it & I’m glad I picked it up rather than revisiting something average that I’d already tried before.

DIBBLE (101) - Worthing, West Sussex, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2015
Bottle conditioned. Yeasty, hay aroma. Clear golden beer with a lacey white head that fizzles fast to a thin film. Taste is full but light in tone, hay, delicate crisp apple, with a bright lively mouth feel. Slightly dry finish. Refreshing and moreish.

Definite fayre for the lager-drinker. Tastes OK but too light to make any real impression. Good BBQ beer though. Clean tasting.

Pours a clear light gold color with an off white head. The smell is light sweet malt, mild fruit, crisp hops. The taste is biscuit, crisp hops with a bit odd dryness on the end. The body is light with fine carbonation that is active. A drinkable beer that isn’t particularly interesting.

Couleur jaune orangée, trouble, forte mousse blanche. Bon nez malt, grains de céréales. Bon gout de malt, caramel, fruité de pomme golden, houblonné frais avec note sucrée et note paille. Bon corps, bien rond en bouche. Fin assez longue pomme et sucrée. Nickel!

500 ml bottle bought at Wellcome Superstore in Sheung Shui.

Clear golden yellow colour with lots of yeast sediments; Explosive four-finger head with long lasting soapy white foam; Excellent sticky lacing and very fizzy carbonation; Fragrant aroma of moderate Ale malt, with nice apricots, light canned peaches, yellow fruits, light floral, molasses, light yeast and faint grass; Very light sweet taste of light malt, with very light peaches, shades of apricots, soda, strong carbo, pretty strong spices, soggy bread, yeast, light lemon, very light bitter hops and strong grass; Mid to light body, Slick and quite thick palate; Mouth feel is light and quite tasty golden Ale, maltyness gets stronger with further sips. Thick body with low-key but neat yellow fruits in backgrounds. Strong spice and light bready yeast. Pretty delightful!... Hoppiness is light apricots, canned peaches and floral in nose. Strong spice, shades of yellow fruits and low lemony grassy taste. Moderate to low bitterness for an abrupt and sharp low-astringent finish; Fairly dry after taste. Spicy and slightly fruity to mouth.

Comments: Bottle conditioning and lots of yeast make this one a joy to watch and taste - excellent head and carbo, light but solid golden body with fair maltyness, smart light fruits and strong spicy hops. Refreshing and pretty exciting to enjoy in Summer and Fall. A pretty good one!
