A beautifully hand crafted beer with an exceptionally smooth palette and a fruity aroma. A dark, ruby-coloured stout, almost black from a distance, with a beautiful creamy head. Fuggles and Goldings hops. 20% Slovenian Goldings added 10 minutes befofe end of boil.

Dark chocolate brown with a thick tan head and cascading carbonation. Smell of coffee and caramel and very mild hops. t Tastes of caramel, smoke, chocolate, licorice(spelling?), vanilla, roasted malt, slight hop. Finishes dry with a good aftertaste. This I would take over a Guiness anyday. Very good full flavor stout.

Backlog. On tap at Green Lion Inn. Subtle with the regular hints of coffee and chocolate. A fine beer.

Draught, Celtic Dolmen - Irish pub in Novosibirsk. Color - dark brown, almost black, is opaque. Foam - abundant, delicate cream ( light beige ) color, fine-grained, dense and very resistant, stick to the walls of the glass. Aroma - cocoa beans, chocolate, coffee and light refreshments grassy notes. Body is not very dense, carbonation is weak, soft carbonation. The taste is very mild, delicate, all the classic ingredients for stout - light black patent malt, dark chocolate, coffee. The aftertaste is long, coffee- burning, somewhat dry. No bitterness and kislosti sweets also virtually none. Taste reminded me Youngs Double Chocolate Stout. Now I am puzzled - how to make a comparative tasting. Understand what is the difference. Just gorgeous Stout! Highly recommended!

A very decent oatmeal stout. Smooth body and mouthfeel with a sweet character, chocolate with a bit of sourness.

Sample from 50 cl. bottle, B.B. August 2007. Near black with ruby hues. Small, creamy tan head. Roasted aroma with fruits, chocolate, faint smoke and coffee. Diacetyl - basement aroma. Medium body, creamy texture. Finishes bitter with roasted notes. Some bitterness after all! Does not age with grace, drink it fresh.

Smak och doft humle, malt toner av kaffe, chocklad och russin. Krämig och len i gommen. God beska.

Tap @Bombardier, Riga. Clear, dark brown color, creamy head. Looks nice. Caramel, sweet, cakey aroma. Caramel, grainy, slightly sour, malty flavor. Watery and thin mouthfeel. Not a proper enjoyment.

(Bottle). Aroma of roasted malt with a smooth and creamy taste of roasted malt with hints of coffee and chocolate. Tasty but a bit thin in body!

500ml bottle pours almost black, but when held to the light it reveals some reddish highlights and pours with a finger of light beige head which leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is chocolate and roasted grains with some aromatic hops. Taste is chocolate malt sweetness with an English type hop bitterness. As far as oatmeal stouts go, this one rivals St. Ambroise oatmeal stout. Nicely done.

Bottled, 500ml, a present, cheers Stu. Very dark brown, ruby hint with cream head. Full bodied, rich, smooth, some liquorice and a grainy sweetness. There is a wine like back flavour mixed with the chocolate malts. Very decent indeed.
