Cask at ODBF 04: Poured a light tan/orange with a lot of large sediment floating through it. Aroma was weak. Flavor was of citrusy hops with a mild but near balanced sweet caramel malt backbone.

Cask@moonunderwater, Wolverhampton. Amber beer with medium sized head. Malty aroma. Taste is malts, grain and hops. Bog standard, not special at all. A disapointment.

Nose of nuts and malt. Pours a caramel coloured beer. Small head. Soft mouthfeel. Some sweetness is balanced with the hops. A nice dry fininsh. A good session beer.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2008 Cask at Young’s, London Dark amber pour with a small head. Low aroma and a biscuit malt flavor. Really watered down and disappointing, but a bit better than the bitter. My dad (fellow beer snob) and I think there was something wrong with it because it was so bad, but the tender assured us it was right. One of the worst beers Ive had in a while. Avoid this one.

Cask @ another but not as fucked up place. Redish amber with a short bubnle froth. Very fruity berryish nose with caramel and some hops. Strawberries, cranberries. Taste is caramel malty with a berry sourness and light sweetness. nice and drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

True amber with a golden tint and a wispy white head. The nose is of grassy hops and rich marmalade with a hint of peaches and dough. In the mouth it’s a bitter-sweet balance, though overly watery; not much going on besides a little added ginger and some cellar dank. It’s thin bodied, oily and low in carbonation. Finishes on the malts and yeast and that’s that. Nothing special, nothing offensive.

Draught at The White Hart, Barnes - 18/2/11. Brown but with a hint of ruby in colour. Grassy nose with some flowers in there.Little honey in early taste giving way to hops as it finishes.
